Doesn't matter which Windows. Everyone gets their assumptions wrong lel. It's because you have a 64-bit computer. Pick up a gamemodule.elb in #downloads and replace yours with it, in the game's folder.
Aditionnaly you can force the game into window mode with dxwnd and its files.
