Has anyone played Asterix: The Mansions of the Gods for 3DS?
Failentin
I only played the demo
Failentin
Can't imagine spending money on that game
Appleseal
Lol how bad is it xD
Failentin
Well maybe I'm remembering it worse than it actually is, but I certainly didn't like it :/

Was just another mini game collection without any own ideas.
Martyste Tendertail
I might look into getting it on Citra Emulator

I've got another nice idea: Tell us which Etranges Libellules games you played and in what order. For me: - Asterix & Obelix XXL: Found it sitting on a shelf at a local retail store by accident. Had never heard anything about it before, but saw the tiny screenshots on the backcover and thought to myself: "Wow, this looks pretty cool." Wasn't disappointed at all. Must have been 11 or 12 years old at the time. - Asterix & Obelix XXL 2: Was still not that interested in video games back then, so I only found out about it when that same retailer had it on the shelf a year or so later. Had no pocket money left, because I had just bought myself an NDS, so I never got the original version of XXL2, only later did I buy it as part of the "World of Asterix" collection in 2007. Although I did stare at it longingly for a while in the store.

. - Pink Panther: Pinkadelic Pursuit Saw that one at a small video game shop in Marseille in 2007 when I was on summer vacation with a friend (the same one that I would play the XXL games with regularly). Immediately recognized the Etranges Libellules logo at the front and, thus, immediately had to buy it (was only 5€ anyway). When I had bought it I opened it up on the spot and devoured the booklet searching for who made the music. Was transported to heaven as I found the name "LaForest" waiting there for me. Underrated game imo, people should try it if they get the chance. - Arthur and the Invisibles: Bought that one a few months after Pink Panther, because I was now in full Etranges Libellules hype and had to try every game of theirs I could get my hands on - also I now had my own PC and wouldn't have to chase my father away from his desk anymore. 2007 was the year. Could never play it past the half-way point though, because it would suddenly not start up again.

. - Asterix at the Olympic Games: What a way to end 2007. Had eagerly awaited it for half a year. Already wrote about that one in the OG forum. - Dawn of the Dragon: Played it on a friend's Wii. It was alright, some parts were good, others not so much. Some level graphics were breathtaking. I was missing the LaForest soundtrack... In my opinion this was the last good game from ELB, and the first where their engine would more and more become outdated. This game was not as pretty as it should have been on PS3 and X360. - How to Train your Dragon: Played it for a while on a Wii emulator. Was not good, couldn't get myself to finish it. Still no LaForest. My hype died. - Alice in Wonderland: Bought that one for 10€ on Amazon out of curiosity around the time ELB went bankrupt. Incredibly good ideas in that game, still has a bit of that old magic, but is just dragging on boringly over many parts. Unfortunately a mediocre game at best - yet the few shimmers of light still make it a worthwhile time.

. - Asterix & Obelix XXL2 HD: The reason why I'm here wink Now I only need to play Kirikou and I have them all.
