Lovesick is a project that started out as a remake of Yandere Simulator, but is now planned to be distanced by: - getting a new name (Lovesick was considered as an alternative name for YS) - having a new protagonist and rivals - becoming a social sim (killing people will be still an option)

And since we brought up YS and Lovesick, there was a game in the works of similar genre, called Watashi No Mono, but recently it was cancelled due to the drama and the developer losing interest in the genre. I'm on WNM's Discord and today builds of the game were posted. I tried out the latest one.

I took this screen from the latest build of WNM I found. There isn't really much to do, but you can see how much the creators tried to distance it from YS (it started out as a YS mod)

Bloom and Ambient Occlusion are disabled (I don't like Bloom here and forgot about AO), but I turned on Shadows which are outright stated to lower framerate. My PC could still run the game at above 50 FPS.
