And to sum of BotW. No temples and the guardians are meh, the bosses are mechanically neat but all look boring af, not a single side quest that is good, the game made me not like Koroks and I loved Koroks, it's size only goes to show how empry it is, bad voice acting, boring story, combat can get fun if you abuse glitches, equipment systems are wack, food is ridiculous, the shrines are 'trails of strength' bad or one of the 2 good ones, and finally the best part of the game being Hyrule castle... which just like the rest of the game runs like complete ass.
And then as the final pinch of salt to rub it all in, there's Ganon :/
I just can't look past all that and say it's good...
Great walking simulator though.
If you want to just move about and look at stuff.
Huh... Well, I can totally see why you would dislike the game, and I agree with many of these flaws. I personally loved the guardians, their scale and their mechanics were pretty cool (I loved how you could just watch these huge beasts stomp through the world). What they lacked was variety, they all looked exactly alike inside, which was huge wasted potential. I also enjoyed the shrines quite a bit, even though they got quite repetitive at some point.
But what really makes the game great for me is the world and the tons of possibilities to traverse it. If by horse, by paraglider, by shield-surfing, by climbing etc, I just love going through the world (which imo doesn't feel empty at all) and enjoy the nice sights. Even after beating the game, I would occasionally boot up the game to climb up the mountains or run around without any particular reason. So yeah, I like the game exactly for being a walking simulator, it's precisely the kind of game I love xD
Also, unpopular opinion, but the music was GREAT.
Yeah, music was neat when ever it was around.
And I don't mean walking simulator in a negative way at all. Seriously, if all one wants is to travel about for the hell of it then it's basically the best option available.
That's basically what I did with GTA V when I had finished that thing btw. I booted it up, got a motor cycle and headed up into the mountains and just biked about.
That game is gorgeous on CEMU
And yes, using the master cycle around Hyrule feels fantastic, altough it makes for a huge probability of panic blood moons so the game flushes memory.
Wait, the game can do them 'randomly' when memory gets low?
Or what ever I should call it.
Blood Moons that don't care what time of day it is, take like 4-5 seconds to appear
Anyone playing PAYDAY 2? If there are such, then say, 40,000+ Crime Spree is that much?
