his face expression make you feel sad or happy
Still bad emote

With Marty asking Rubin about which parts of the modern gaming environment he likes, I thought this might be a fun exercise: Name your favourite games from the last five years!
Here are mine (not in particular order):
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance (medieval RPG set in 1403 Bohemia)
- Life is Strange (yeah, I thought it had a great story)
- Rise of the Tomb Raider (best modern action/adventure game imo)
- Enderal: Forgotten Stories (epic fanmade RPG built on Skyrim's engine)
- The Council (adventure game with social RPG mechanics)
- Dragon Quest XI (a classical JRPG in the best sense of the word)
- King's Quest 2016 (beautiful tribute to the old series)
- Persona 5 Royal (the most stylish game ever)
- A Plague Tale: Innocence (think I mentioned this a few times already)
Hm, let's see...
- The Great Ace Attorney
- All Rusty Lake games (fantastic escape games, the majority of them are even free)
- Zelda BotW (definitely on place 1)
- Mario Odyssey
- Splatoon 2
- Cadence of Hyrule
-Battlefield 1
And that's it. All of my other favourite games come from the early 2000s and 2010s.
Oh yeah, if I had a Switch, BotW would probably in here 🤔
Yeah, it's such a magnificent experience
- Battlefield 1
- Spongebob Battle For Bikini Bottom Rehydrated
- Resident Evil 2 Remake
- Resident Evil 3 Remake
- Forza Horizon 4
- Sonic Forces Speed Battle
- Tekken 7
- Doom (2016)
- A Hat in Time
- Subnautica: Below Zero
- Fer.al
- Ice Age: Scrat's Nutty Adventure
Oh Stinkek tell me about that Ice Age game, I almost bought it, how is it like?
Since I love the Ice Age 2 game from long ago, maybe this one's worth?
I also got this game due to my nostalgia for Ice Age 2. It's a lot like IA2 but:
- You have only one save slot with autosave. The game saves whenever you approach some vertical stones with acorns.
- The game provides fast-travel spots in the beginning of every level. You can look at the map and see how many collectibles you found in them and how many are left.
- You play ONLY as Scrat through the whole game. You don't interact with any friendly characters. One will act as your tutorial but you won't see them. You're basically alone on your journey.
- You should collect the most common bonuses to extend your health bar, you'll need it for multiple bosses... You also unlock concept art in the game's menu when you collect certain amounts.
- You can't swim. If you fall into water, you'll jump out as if you fell into lava or water in the Ice River level of IA2.
- More puzzle elements.
- There are a bunch of hidden collectibles, some are harder to get than others and even require backtracking because they require you to use special abilities. Everything you found is stored in the hub location.
- IDK if it's just me, but despite good graphics the game felt a tad raw to me. The game still uses invisible walls in some places and the physics may get weird (ESPECIALLY on slides, I fell into where I wasn't supposed to be)
The objective of the game is to find... uh... 4 crystal acorns. They're in the end of 4 locations, which all connect to the hub location. The game's map is basically X-shaped, with the hub in the middle.
Also, IDK if it's just the PC version, but controlling the camera with mouse is a pain the butt... But you mentioned you only play with controllers, so this shouldn't be an issue for you.
Aight, this may not seem as... ambitious as the other game, but still good enough.
