It is. Still no crash from me and I only reach 50fps in incredibly crowded areas which is impressive considering I'm still running it on a GTX970.
My CPU is pretty good though :3

But really, fucking game awards. 3-4 hours of ads combined with awards handed out in at best questionable ways. Really, only thing the Game awards are lacking is a yearly money burning pyre.

Same, I remembered watching it last year at which when I was asked by some people if I wanted to watch with them I told them that 4 hours of game awards last year was agony and I have no intention of doing it again.
And from what I can tell that was the right choice.
