I couldn't send someone an image in DMs, but I could send them a link to it. Does it mean I can technically link to a scam, virus or some other shit? And yet I can't add people to friends in a convenient way, comment or even like stuff? Steam can go die in a fire.

The steam account is limited as long as you don't have spent (bought in first place) any money on steam. They did that to prevent bots abusing these features to not hurt the community that way.

Not quite yet no. But I have a hard time getting immersed at all when it's just a non stop bug fest. Story sensitive animations are all over the place ruining the mood, having had real back luck and had to replay a lot of the game due to glitches is also not fun.
