I've been shown a site that has a built-in NES emulator, allows multiple people to connect, chat and even play in multiplayer, although I didn't experience the multiplayer much due to Internet problems of the other person. To start a game, one of the users must load a NES file from their PC.

They had NES era games, if I recall right. But nothing spectacular.
So I mentioned an old game called Santa Claus in Trouble Again. It's from 2004, low requirements and such, but thankfully it runs on 64-bit Windows 10.
Just a few days ago to yesterday when I launched it, I saw it running at an insultingly low framerate. Fraps couldn't show it correctly, but it felt like 10 FPS. I saw gameplay where it ran smoothly.
As I was going to turn off my PC this midnight, Windows had an update ready. I was like "ok, go ahead"... Today I launch the game again and it runs smoothly.
Wow, Microsoft did something right for once.
Edit: XXL3 Steam demo still runs like trash
