So, that shouldn't be surprising, that practice didn't make those games bad. But, regardless, we can agree the engine in general isn't great. I really hate its abysmal loading times.

From the gameplay the loading time seems to have improved a lot

Better be. Cuz seriously, how XXL 2 be like using only 200MB of RAM maximum, but still takes over a minute sometimes to load on my SSD...

If I ever convince myself to get the game on PC ( or win it, take it at a discount ), i'll let you know if I find something interesting in the files

yeah, maybe something like 2000 shaders and most of them being 1:1 duplicates of others :Pedlar:

oh yes, not only compiling them all takes time (depending on your driver), but also can have huge impact on performance (since switching from one shader to another during rendering takes time)
