ill come back later, need to do stuff right now
dont do anything sacrilegious!
No no, Asterix doesn't own the empire
I heard 12 Tasks wasn't canon
"La magnanimité des Gaulois, a permi à César de se retirer..."
The Gauls simply declined the godhood treatment, they just wanted peace in their village.
And yes Cesar retired with Cleopatra.
Canon or not, it would be the last adventure... but the problem is, the romans do not acknowledge the Magic Potion.
"Stop playing with that knife, you'll end up hurting someone"
The 12 Tasks just can't be put before nor after most Astérix adventures
It can't be the end either
Because they don't know about the Potion
In the first *comic* and cartoon based on it, Caligula Minus gets to taste potion but doesn't find out its recipe. He still delivers the information to his centurion
Possibility: Sometime after the 12 Tasks, the romans find out about the Magic Potion, and Cesar, burning with rage, comes back to power.
Maybe Cesar in the first comic didn't take belief of Asterix's words as he didn't really witness the madness.
This would be the only way to make this canon.
Yeah, there is some mutual respect in some way.
