I don't think that XXL has any reverb at all, this is a new concept to me as well :Obelul:

It could be, that they create this functionality but never use it. I will check later if I notice any differences

Okay, I just tested, there is a noticeable difference unfortunately. Below are four videos, they are: 1: Destroying metal crates and collecting helmets (No reverb) 2: Destroying metal crates and collecting helmets (Reverb) 3: Hitting metal crates (No reverb) 4: Hitting metal crates (Reverb) When you hit the metal crates, it does not sound "buggy" anymore without reverb, as with reverb it can overlap and sound very loud. Same for collecting boni, when you collect multiple at once it will be quieter as well.

There is also another big issue: I get a massive lag spike when I start the game with no reverb and IndirectSound (dsound.dll). It fixes itself after 5 seconds or so, but this is a very big problem. I've never had this issue before and it only happens with the IndirectSound patch...

Can you try cheattool only without dsound file? Cheattool should fix fps problem itself
