I'm don't know if the dsound dll is actually getting loaded (I assume not), so it would be nice if you could check if so. Best would be with a debugger, but that might not be so easy, given your computer knowledge.

Sorry, but I'm not sure what the problem could be... you might be out of luck entirely and can't play the game because of an unknown reason

The only thing that comes to my mind would be to post a crashdump file, but those are almost entirely useless without debug information from the developers

Before the Windows problem, I remember that the game worked. (I played it for like 2 minutes)

If the original game does not work (with dsoal in it), then the mod will certainly not work for you either.

Recent windows 11 update broke compatibility. We now need dsoal or alternatives.

I'd double check & turn off ANY antivirus (including defender, ALL of them), and try the original game again (with dsoal).

Since I didn't find a way to turn off McAfee, i uninstalled it. I hope it wasn't a good antivirus

Nope. Even with out antivirusses, the game doesn't load
