Update: my friend tried too with his Windows 10 PC and the game worked, while it didn't work for his Windows 11 PC

He even asked to an AI to solve the problem. When I tried the "fixed by AI" game, the pc told me that there wasn't any sound device or something like that. Never before I got that error message. Idk if it is a good thing or not

You need to figure out if the dsound.dll (in the same directory as the game) is actually getting loaded.

hello everyone, I entered in this server because I want to talk with someone about the problems of @come_te I was trying to install the game with the patches but it doesn't work. I think is a problem of windows 11 because in win 10 everything works perfectly fine. Referring to the dll files, everything is ok no problem about that. Thank you in advantage

Gotcha. What exactly you mean by that the dll files are ok? The new dsound.dll (dsoal or ca) should get loaded instead of the original d3d dsound.

Yes, the new dsound dll should replace the "old" (native). The native one is causing troubles, hence it needs a replacement.

You do that by simply moving the dsound.dll into the same directory as the executable. Of course, make sure no antivirus is actually blocking the injection (or some new setting in win11 that I'm not aware of).
