Hey hello there! *long time no see for some of you guys* I had a question, I'm trying to apply ReShade to XXL (successfully done that with XXL2 with FilmGrain / BlurMotion / HDR / etc.) but it requires a d3d9.dll file - which in my case- is already used for QoL. Are there any ways I can benefit from the QoL without having the d3d9.dll file, so ReShade can create its own?

Hello! 🙂 There is one possibility: you can rename ReShade's DLL file to **apd3d9.dll**, and keep the QoL's DLL to **d3d9.dll**. If the QoL patch sees the file apd3d9.dll it will load it.

Otherwise I might consider seeing alternatives for loading the QoL with different filenames.

So ! The game does load only when I change QoL's dll to apd3d9.dll, and letting ReShade to d3d9.dll. However I loose a few functionalities, such as right stick recognition + language always displayed in english even if you can select other languages. But when doing the opposite and changing Reshade"s DLL to apd3d9.dll / letting QoL to d3d9.dll , the games just does not open at all :thinkDerp:

One possibility is to use an ASI Loader which then lets you use any dll file and even load multiple mods at the same time.

Yooooo! Update: I managed to do it with Ultimate ASI loader, it works perfectly fine with both QoL and Reshade
