Tbf I've always seen FA as a way to show everyone's best time / gold on the current most optimised route
I personally like to see the difference between Segment% and FA% as the difference between Time Attack and Round mode in a racing game (trackmania for example).
In Time-Attack, you can reset as much time as you want while in Round mode, you have a whole run behind you and you have to perform in a specific segment on the flight, and I kinda like that idea.
Even if you can restart as much time as you want for a Full-Any%, there's still that idea that you have to perform in the specific run you started (which is less the case in a Segment% run)
