Gosh one day I outgha make decent hardware and emulated console runs.
Btw, how about a category "Emulation" on the leaderboards? That would separate from real hardware and allow widescreen tardis patches ( and slide skip patch if we ever port that ) while console runs are to remain pristine. Only PS2 should be allowed to have the anti-crash ISO patch on real hardware to allow it into 100% runs.
Emulation category would be a fitting, resting place for the ooold GC-emu runs that should NOT be compared to real hardware especially given the weak PC slowdowns that plagued my runs. ( And, you know, this emulated first run used widescreen... )
However given the tools available on emulated runs, i believe we can let GC-emu and PS2-emu compete together, as they will barely differ in lag.
All can be played in 60Hz widescreen too, that's a plus.
Personally, I'm not too keen on adding more categories that are somewhat likely to stay empty 🤔
There are so few console runs so far, that I see little point in splitting them up further.
