So how do you all feel about the next Asterix game from Microids? Looks nice, but after the disaster that was XXL Romastered, I’m very skeptical

Not the same devs, different project scale and nature, so we can't be absolutely sure. I don't recall negative reviews of Toki, previous game of the devs.

That’s my concern. I doubt Osome wanted to release XXL the way they did. Same goes for the devs of XIII Remake

Maybe, but the developers seem to have taken very questionable decisions in the making of the remasters and XXL3

Haven’t been able to play XXL3, it’s not available in my country. But I wasn’t thrilled by what I saw

The frame rate that slowly dies... yeah. The lighting is questionable as well. We don’t know for a fact, but I would hope that they wanted to fix most of the bugs on first release (and they sort of did later on) and just couldn’t

What’s most annoying about that remaster for me is that they multiplied the boxes. Boxes everywhere you go. And there’s no point in having that large a helmet currency

Outside of remasters and XXL3 the only game published by Microids I have is Garfield Kart: Furious Racing, where I didn't notice any issues (at least yet)
