Is it me ir the patch to fix the windows 11 crash makes the audio low quality

It can change the audio slightly, is it much worse for you? The new fixes routes it through a different audio library

I do remember the audio being much better but idk if its just because i have been playing more modern games and i got unaccustomed to old audio

I swear xxl had really good audio for its age tho

It does differ slightly (compared to wine's dsound implementation). It isn't as clear, slightly muffled.
