The way he works is that he starts flying if you approach him with an ignited torch

They're actually really fun and can cause massive damage to the enemy groups, it's absolute mayhem. They even go through walls!

It's kind of interesting how the Rocket Roman and the Roman throwing mechanic from XXL2 look kind of similar: in XXL2 when you throw a Roman they also aim to nearby Romans, and you can lock them to any object like a target. So this mechanic may have gotten some inspirations from the Rocket Romans.

Sure, maybe they were developing the Rocket Roman and couldn't or didn't have the time to make him not go through walls, so they adjusted the mechanic so that you aim him instead

And I believe in XXL2 the enemy, when thrown, will also hit an enemy, then go to the next one etc.
