For Cesar's Challenge I wanted to add several difficulties, but the problem was that I would have had to duplicate the level files for each difficulty and that is too much work... Maybe we could add several difficulty options in future mods once the game code is more documented

Beta Rome wasn't actually that difficult, the difficult things luckily turned out to be not so difficult

yeah but in the end it had its fair share of challenges at this point only You and Adrien know how to "talk" with editor and now as well heso but still without you guys that knowledge will be lost and impossible to recover especially when there is no documentation

I gotchu. The data system itself is optimized for speed, so all the data is repeated in each level. I'm thinking we could just have a dedicated directory for all the assets, once.

I really don't want to port the original like so, sounds like a lot of work. I assume this could be only for new mods?

We could probably only unite models, textures, sounds, etc. Either way, classes like Trio and such need to be copied.

Should be possible, they probably had them all as files on the disk which were then compiled into the K** files

I feel like some parts aren't quite polished. I was hoping the community could help a bit more- say with level design: we could have been like ELB themselves! And well, I disagree with some ideas, but those are my personal opinions. Though, if you guys are satisfied, no problem! :peepoLove:
