Hey there folks, I just set my beloved XXL1 (The Best and Only XXL) with widescreen mode and wanna to poke around the game files.
I found some helpful files by baku and tools by adrian (thx guys), I wanna to do a translation for a game.
I maybe behind with the news, but xxl_editor doesn't really help.
I change text, but game crashes. Same with textures. I'm new to everything here, so don't beat be up. Jus point in a right direction 🙂
Also, is there a way to set camera in the game to mouse axis?

If the game crashes, there might multiple reasons. Which version of XXL1 are you trying to modify? Did you do the required patching of the game? And which version of XXL Editor are you using?
The game doesn't really support the mouse as input. While there is code for that that can be enabled, it is buggy. I suggest to just use some remapping program.
For what language are you planning to do?

I installed an iso of European version of the game (yellow and black disc). I have on physical, but it's scratched and installation gives me an error towards the end, sadly. I swapped the GameModule.elb file.
I wanna do a Russian one. The one that we have sucks (or maybe there is an official one?) and to do VO also (but that's might a wishful thinking there).
