When I looked up the problem (which affects other games as well), I've heard that it might be due to full screen optimization. Has anyone tried to disable the full screen optimization in the exe's compatibility properties?

You can do it here, I guess make sure to disable it on the actual game executable (GameModule) and not the Asterix.exe launcher

yea I already tried like all the options. You can only use them on the exe afaik tho

You should try renaming the GameModule.elb to GameModule.exe, then you should be able to apply properties.
(even though it is possible that compatibility properties in Asterix.exe do propagate to the GameModule, so maybe that wouldnt change much)
