also making combos potion exclusive kinda completely diminishes the point of the potion, because you instantly use a combo instead of actually making use of the potion
That's honestly why i like playing XXL2 without combos
The combos make the fights go by too quick for such a short game
And the magic potion is also severely weakened
Is nowhere near as powerful as it was in the first game
XXL2 suffers greatly from a small game world and some questionable choices made during development
The magic potion is not the only instance i'd say
I'm basically making some unfair critique here
XXL1 was meant to be a serious game
While XXL2 is a more amusement park-ish thing
Otherwise you wouldn't have the tons of video game references
Or a parody of a city that didn't exist at the time
personally I don't understand the story lol
why does Caesar think that taking Druids is going to stop asterix and obelix from defeating his armies again
they did it in xxl1 pretty much lol
I guess it's cause he knows asterix and obelix will come to save the druids
The village is very vulnerable
