The point in getting Getafix is to have asterix and obelix leave the village while also having no opportunity for new magic potion reserves
Remembered how much backtracking XXL2 had, mind immediately went "ughhhhhhh"
Capturing the other 3 druids is for creating these huge Dethmach soldiers to use against the village
Indomitable village - Getafix - two best warriors, one of whom is permanently under the potion's effects = just a bunch of village idiots
Backtracking was alot, but thankfully the remaster added a map
However it came at the cost of manual saving being gone
You now permanently relied on auto saving
i mean he already captured all villagers and burned the village in xxl1
clearly he's already capable of raiding the village lol
I'm guessing he wanted to sabotage and somehow kill asterix and obelix in xxl2
he almost did in that lava pit
He almost managed to kill them when a disguised Larry Craft dropped them into a lava pit in the volcano
should've just added more traps instead of romans fr
But it would've been.interesting to see how he was supposed to keep all the villagers captured without the events of XXL1 repeating again
I mean against asterix alone that wouldn't be a problem but against obelix ?
