I agree with Failentin, however are the XXL2 themes very repetitive since they are 1-2 minutes long at best, some themes not even reaching a minute. That would be okay if they would only be used once or twice, but hearing the Battle theme 1 over and over again is extremely annoying. XXL1 tracks were also stylized to fit the environment they play in (at least in my opinion), like the viking vocals in Normandy fight. XXL2 tracks were also stylized to fit the environment, however not nearly as much as XXL1's tracks. Battle theme 1 just doesnt fit in the games setting really.

XXL 2 all takes place in Rome, so yeah, there's not as much variety

@PegPeregoGaucho You're absolutely right there, the tracks are too short and don't develop much in their loop span. While XXL1's ost could tell whole stories within one track, some tracks of XXL2 are just the same melody three times with only a few changes, then it loops back to the beginning. It's true that it wastes some potential there. However, for the settings, I think it fits very nicely, but as I said, due to how short the soundtrack is as a whole, themes that should definitely be region specific (Luxury Halls, Luxor Battle, Pirates Island Battle and especially WCW theme as some examples) are played at random locations, which is why they lose their meaning. Battle Theme 1 is the "generic" fighting theme of the game, and I think it fits every location in Las Vegum quite well, but that's just personal preferance.

Dumb question, but if you haven't collected any pigeons, you can still play as Obelix in Olympic mode, right? I don't wanna risk messing with the save file.

I think he's already unlocked by default, would be weird if he wasn't. I can quickly check that

So I guess Asterix and Obelix are available in Olympic mode without pigeons, and Lovestorix requires the least amount.
