and obelix catapult

you know, the jump pad, but the devs called it obelix catapult
and it really is... a catapult
darn... it should just be what it is, a spring board
yeah, here's the "official" names:
maximus - machine gun
transport ones - trio catapult
enemy one - catapult
spring board - obelix catapult
well low and behold, the dual function of R3 is intended, as per the PS2 version!
which means that restoring the stick axis for the PC version also restored the dormant functionality of holding down R3.
I've tried a new save, no controller settings, set centering to the right stick button, and hold down centering is gone.
oh, weirder... after binding all my camera axis to keys, then back to right stick ( current pc ), holding down R3 no longer slow turns.
BUT MY FORMER KEY FOR CENTER CAMERA DOES IT
rebinding just keeps swapping them x3
there's probably some serious jank in the code
I don't see how the game is even remapping it at all
Ah okay, maybe I do see it...
I don't follow at all, which function did you discover?

there clearly is an oversight. whenever i bind center camera to a key, slow turn works on R3. But as soon as i put it on R3 again, whichever key that was center camera last gets the ability to slow turn.
jank with 2 actions naturally bound to R3 on PS2 ( light tap, hold down ), and how it's implemented on PC
basically on PC these two actions meant for 1 single button can be decoupled
